Yes a woman can own land. She could marry a landowner and they would share the land. If her husband died then she would get all of the land. Which would be ALOT of work to take care of herself. Then as she got older the physical laybor would become more dificult. Also, if she had no brothers she could inherit the land. Its not fair how brothers get everything.Tuesday, May 17, 2011

I think its cool how women got a lot more rights then in ancient times. I see that if there is a man in the picture the men still have more rights though.
ReplyDeleteThat is soo interesting i didnt think that women could own land. But thats really cool how they could if they were married to a land owner or they inherited. And i do agree with you that it is not fair how brothers get everything.
